Valeria Marini reveals intended stage name ‘Valery Moore’

Italian entertainer Valeria Marini has shared an anecdote regarding her early career, revealing that she once intended to adopt the stage name ‘Valery Moore’.

During her time on the reality program Grande Fratello Vip, Marini recounted that the idea originated during her auditions for the Bagaglino troupe. She explained that the name was intended as a tribute to actress Demi Moore, who was highly popular at the time.

According to Marini, director Pier Francesco Pingitore discouraged the change, insisting that her own name was already beautiful. Marini noted that while she initially focused on prose theater, the opportunity provided by Pingitore became a decisive turning point in her professional life.
