Valeria Pedetti wins Italian Master SF50 5000m title

Athlete Valeria Pedetti has secured another Italian national title at the Italian Master Athletics Championships held in Campi Bisenzio. Competing in the SF50 5000m event, Pedetti confirmed her status as a national champion in a discipline where she currently holds the Italian record.

This victory marks a successful return to competition following a period of absence due to health issues, which had previously forced her to withdraw from the European Championships. Pedetti noted that while her preparation was fragmented because of these health concerns, her physical response during the race was encouraging. She credited her training program, prepared by Alessio Stocchetti, for her performance and indicated that she is looking forward to future competitions.
