Valguarnera to host Madonna of Fatima statue for week-long event

The town of Valguarnera is preparing for a week-long religious event from September 27 to October 4, 2026. The statue of the Madonna Pellegrina, housed in the Fatima Sanctuary in Portugal, will be hosted at the San Francesco di Paola Parish.

Led by parish priest Don Salvatore Cumia and Don Vittorio De Paoli from the Diocese of Milan, the program includes daily Masses, the Holy Rosary, and Marian catechesis. The event begins on September 27 with a procession to the parish. Throughout the week, evening sessions will be held at 9:00 PM, each dedicated to specific messages from Fatima, such as prayer.
