Valguarnera to host Sicilian comedy “U sapiti com’è”

The Sicilian comedy “U sapiti com’è”, written by Francesca Sabato Agnetta, will be performed on Wednesday, August 19, at Villa Falcone Borsellino in Valguarnera. The production is presented by the Catenanuova-based company “Noi Voi e il Teatro” under the direction of Antonietta Biondi.

Organized in collaboration with the local municipal administration, the event offers free admission to the public. The play explores the profound bond between an elderly, wise, and paralyzed mother and her son, Cola, a kind-hearted young man with a mental disability. The narrative weaves together themes of daily life, love, betrayal, and Sicilian historical references through a mix of humor and emotional depth.
