Valinhos Municipal Guard arrests two for violating women's protective orders

The Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of Valinhos has reported the arrest of two men for violating urgent protective measures against women. These incidents were handled through the Maria da Penha Guardian Patrol program.

In one recent case in the Jardim São Luiz neighborhood, officers responded to a domestic violence call where the aggressor had allegedly burned his own clothes and damaged the victim's phone after she resisted pressure to revoke her protective order. The use of the ‘panic button’ tool allowed for a rapid response, which officials noted is essential for ensuring the safety of women under legal protection.
