Rio de Janeiro, Belvedere, Rio Branco and Valinhos host municipal service mutirões

In Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, the Subprefecture of Zona Sul began a three‑day "Corredores de Excelência" mutirão on 24 June, concentrating urban cleaning, drainage clearing, tree pruning, lighting repairs and other maintenance along Rua Barão de Itambí. The effort involved Comlurb, RioLuz, municipal conservation and public order agencies and was overseen by sub‑prefect Pedro Angelito.

The Association of Friends of the Belvedere neighbourhood (AABB) met with local sports‑assessment firms to draft guidelines that allow runners to share streets with residents. Measures include alternate routes, safety campaigns, noise‑restriction hours and a code of conduct covering traffic rules, waste‑free practices and respect for private property.

Mayor Alysson Bestene of Rio Branco inspected several projects on 25 June under the "Prefeitura nas Ruas" program, including the renovation of the Edson Rodrigues da Silva sports court, cleaning of a community canal, and road‑maintenance works in the Nova Estação, Conjunto Tangará, Laélia Alcântara and Novo Calafate neighbourhoods. He also announced water‑service expansion plans with Saerb.

Valinhos' municipality organised a "Dia D" service day on 27 June in Jardim América II, offering free health checks, social‑assistance counselling, a women’s entrepreneurship fair, animal‑adoption outreach and a junk‑collection drive as part of the Operação Limpa Valinhos. The event aimed to bring municipal services directly to residents and improve local quality of life.
