Valladolid launches electric scooter safety workshop

The Valladolid City Council has launched a Road Safety Workshop specifically designed for electric scooter users and workers. Part of the Mobility Week initiative, the program aims to reduce risky behaviors and promote responsible driving habits through both theoretical and practical training.

The workshop covers the new General Traffic Regulations from the DGT, which are set to take effect on October 1, 2026. Participants engage in practical exercises on closed circuits to improve risk anticipation and situational awareness during urban travel. The initiative seeks to build a culture of mobility based on rule compliance and respect for other road users.
