Valldoreix board approves motion for urgent road repairs

In Valldoreix, the neighborhood board has approved a motion proposed by Vox to establish specific timelines for repairs and cleaning in the Baixador area following intense rainfall. The motion, supported by Junts, PP, and Vox, requires the removal of obstacles and signaling of dangerous sections within 48 hours, street cleaning within seven days, and the repair of potholes within 30 days, depending on road conditions.

Additionally, the proposal calls for the creation of a specific protocol within one month, the establishment of a direct incident reporting channel for residents, and increased resources for maintenance crews. While the local government opposed the motion, stating that cleaning and preparation are already being carried out, officials acknowledged that paving for transverse streets and access improvements remain pending.
