Valle de Juárez highway cleared of sand following heavy rains

Residents of the Jesús Carranza ejido in Valle de Juárez have expressed gratitude to the municipal government for clearing sand from a section of the Juárez-Porvenir highway. The road, which serves as the primary communication route for local communities, was obstructed following recent heavy rains that washed significant amounts of sand onto the roadway.

Following a request to Municipal President Héctor Ortiz Orpinel, machinery was deployed to remove the accumulated material and restore access for commuters traveling between the Valle de Juárez communities and Ciudad Juárez. Local residents noted that maintaining this highway is essential for regional mobility and have suggested future infrastructure improvements, such as the construction of a bridge, to prevent similar obstructions during future rain events.
