Valle dei Templi hosts sound tours and Botero exhibition walks

The Valle dei Templi is hosting a series of specialized cultural activities, including sound-based tours and philosophical walks. On August 20, the ‘Sonora’ format will return, offering sunset sound experiences at the Temple of Juno. These guided narrations, featuring music curated by composer Giovanni Bietti, aim to connect ancient landscapes with modern auditory storytelling.

Additionally, the site is hosting the exhibition ‘Fernando Botero. L’incanto del mito’, which runs until October 31. To complement the exhibit, naturalistic and philosophical walks titled ‘L’eterna misura’ will be held every Sunday until September 20. Led by historian Beniamino Biondi, these walks explore the relationship between Greek concepts of harmony and the monumental volumes found in Botero’s artwork. The program also highlights the Roman Villa of Realmonte.
