Valle dei Templi olive trees illuminated for prevention month

The Onde Rosa association has launched a symbolic lighting initiative in the Valle dei Templi to mark October as the month dedicated to health prevention. Three olive trees in the area of the Temple of Juno have been illuminated in pink, the color representing prevention.

In collaboration with the Parco Archeologico e Paesaggistico della Valle dei Templi, the initiative expanded this year to include two additional olive trees located at the entrance of the Juno area. Silvia Failla Mulone, leader of Onde Rosa, stated that the illumination serves as a starting point to raise community awareness, emphasizing the fundamental message that “prevention saves lives.”
