General Enterprise reaches labor agreement in Salerno

An agreement has been reached at the Salerno Prefecture to resolve a labor dispute involving General Enterprise S. r. l., the company responsible for urban hygiene services in Sapri, Ispani, Torraca, and Montesano sulla Marcellana.

Following a strike proclamation by the FIT-CISL union, negotiations led to a commitment to apply the renewed National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for the environmental hygiene sector, effective from October. The company's sole administrator acknowledged issues regarding unpaid wages and arrears, including the thirteenth and fourteenth monthly payments. The parties agreed to settle current wages by the end of the week and establish a repayment plan for outstanding amounts.
