Valle Encantado features unique rock formations in Patagonia

Located along National Route 237 on the border between the Neuquén and Río Negro provinces, Valle Encantado offers a distinct Patagonian landscape. The area is characterized by massive volcanic rock formations shaped by millions of years of wind and water erosion.

These natural structures resemble various figures, including humans and animals. Notable landmarks within the valley include ‘El Dedo de Dios’ and ‘El Centinela’. The region provides various hiking trails and natural viewpoints overlooking the Limay River, though some paths feature steep slopes and irregular terrain.
