Valle Viejo and San Juan Launch Municipal Registries for Commerce and Celiac Aid

The Municipality of Valle Viejo will start a Municipal Commerce Census for 2026. Teams from the municipal tax, commerce, food safety and inspection departments will visit every shop, register each establishment, inform owners of new local ordinances and provincial agreements, and offer guidance on administrative procedures. The operation aims to keep the commercial database current and improve municipal policy planning.

In the Argentine province of San Juan, the Ministry of Family and Human Development has begun a mandatory re‑registration of people receiving celiac assistance modules. The update seeks to correct outdated addresses and family information, requiring a current medical biopsy as proof of diagnosis. Registration is being conducted at the central hall of the Civic Center on weekdays, with an extended deadline for those unable to attend in person. The refreshed registry will allow San Juan to join a forthcoming national celiac support plan.
