Vallefoglia and Vitorchiano approve household subsidies for water and waste services

The municipality of Vallefoglia approved a one‑time water‑service bonus of €90 per eligible household for 2026. The grant, funded with €10,415 from the local water provider Marche Multiservizi, will be allocated based on a ranking that prioritises families with the lowest ISEE values and larger numbers of children. Eligibility requires residence in Vallefoglia, Italian or EU citizenship (or a long‑term EU residence permit), an active domestic water contract with the provider, and an ISEE below the thresholds set for families with three or four children.

In Vitorchiano, the town council confirmed that the 2026 TARI (waste‑service tax) will remain essentially unchanged from the previous year. A new "TARI social" discount will automatically reduce bills by 25 % for households facing economic hardship, as determined by ISEE data shared between INPS and municipal databases. The discount is financed by a per‑user reimbursement component already present on all TARI invoices. The council also approved the 2026‑2029 waste‑service financial plan (PEF Rifiuti) amounting to about €836,000, with a modest €10,000 increase due to inflation‑adjusted costs.
