Vallendarer Apfelfest to support Rwandan youth work

The 5th Vallendarer Apfelfest is being organized by the Haus Wasserburg support association and Inshuti e. V. The event is scheduled to coincide with Harvest Festival, featuring music, cake sales, and activities centered around apples and pears.

As part of the festivities, freshly harvested fruit will be pressed into juices to be sold for charity. The proceeds will support youth work in the partner community of Matimba in Rwanda. Harvesting and pressing activities are scheduled for September 19 and October 3, 2026, at Haus Wasserburg. Organizers are seeking volunteers for harvesting, fruit donations, and cake contributions for the festival on October 4.
