Vallentuna terminates maintenance contract following service failures

In Vallentuna, the municipality recently terminated a contract with a supplier responsible for green space maintenance, gardening, snow removal, and groundskeeping. The decision followed repeated failures to meet requirements, including issues with snow removal, emptying trash bins, and maintaining grass and flower beds. To ensure continuity of services, the municipality initiated a direct procurement for a temporary solution until a new formal tender process is completed.

Similarly, the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) conducted a performance review of suppliers within the ‘Rusta och matcha’ service. This audit resulted in the termination of 57 supplier contracts across the country because they failed to meet quality standards for results, affecting approximately 1,700 participants.
