Valleseco coastline redesign project ‘Valle Vivo’ selected

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has announced the winning project for the redesign of the Valleseco coastline. The selected proposal, titled ‘Valle Vivo’, aims to create a comprehensive urban and landscape strategy that connects the sea, the local neighborhood, and the ravine.

According to the jury, the project prioritizes the creation of leisure and recreation spaces for citizens while integrating the coastal area with the Valleseco hillside. The winning entry received 71 points and a 6,000 euro prize, outperforming other proposals such as ‘Horizontes de Salitre y Carbón’ and ‘Más Mar’. The city council plans to release further details regarding the project's specific characteristics in the coming weeks.
