Vallet Scholarship awarded to students in Vietnam

The Meet Vietnam Science and Education Association has distributed the 2026 Vallet Scholarships to outstanding students across northern and central Vietnam.

In the northern region, 457 students from 55 high schools received scholarships valued at 17 million VND each. In the provinces of Quang Tri and Ha Tinh, 208 students were awarded scholarships totaling 3.808 billion VND. This group included 16 students receiving 34 million VND each and 192 students receiving 17 million VND each.

Funded by Professor Odon Vallet, the scholarship program was established in 1999 to support high-achieving students, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, orphans, and ethnic minorities. Since its inception, the Vallet Fund has provided over 55,000 scholarships to Vietnamese students with a total value of approximately 600 billion VND.
