Vallo della Lucania hosts cultural and environmental initiatives

The municipality of Vallo della Lucania is launching several community initiatives focused on culture, literature, and environmental sustainability.

The third edition of the cultural review “Voci, Pagine, Emozioni: l’Universo dei Libri” will feature events exploring literature, ranging from lectures on Dante to discussions on legality and local traditions. The program includes participation from local high schools and will be held at the Palazzo della Cultura.

Additionally, the local diocesan community and schools will hold an event titled “Lasciate scorrere l’Acqua Viva” on October 20, 2026. Led by missionary Father Filippo Ivardi Ganapini, the session will address the climate crisis, water resource protection, and ecological justice, drawing inspiration from the encyclical Laudato Si’. The day will conclude with a celebration of the centenary of the World Mission Day at the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie.
