Valmadrera completes redevelopment of Villa Ciceri park

The urban park at the former Villa Ciceri in Valmadrera has been revitalized following the completion of redevelopment works. The project, managed by Aler Bergamo, Lecco e Sondrio, includes the creation of a new public parking area and renewed green spaces.

The project faced several delays and challenges, including disputes over land ownership, rising construction material costs following the pandemic, and the bankruptcy of the original contractor. Following administrative procedures, the work was completed by Riva Giardini Spa. The total economic framework for the project, including technical expenses, amounted to approximately 268,295 euros. The area has been open to the public since October 1.
