Valmadrera mourns passing of Weissenhorn twinning committee member

The community of Valmadrera is mourning the sudden passing of Tanja Reckert-Weltle, a prominent member of the twinning committee in Weissenhorn, Germany. Reckert-Weltle played a vital role in maintaining the long-standing relationship between the Bavarian town and the Italian municipality.

Mayor Cesare Colombo issued a message of condolence in both Italian and German, praising her dedication and hospitality. For many years, Reckert-Weltle hosted Italian families and students in her own home, facilitating cultural exchanges for middle school students and adult groups, including members of a senior university.
