Valmiera completes Zāļu iela infrastructure project

Infrastructure development in Valmiera has reached a new milestone with the completion of the Zāļu iela extension. This project, part of the fourth phase of industrial territory development, improves access to the Valmiera Industry and Export Park. The construction includes centralized utility networks for water supply, sewage, and rainwater, as well as an asphalt roadway and pedestrian paths designed to accommodate heavy freight traffic.

The project was funded by the European Regional Development Fund, with total eligible costs amounting to 257,694.55 EUR, of which 219,040.37 EUR was provided by the EU. The construction was carried out by Sidlu Ceļi.

In related local news, the property management company Valmieras Namsaimnieks has announced a job opening for a plumber. The role involves maintaining water, sewage, and heating systems, as well as installing sanitary equipment. The company offers a monthly gross salary between 1,290 and 1,595 EUR, along with various benefits including health and accident insurance.
