Valon Technologies raises $150M at $2.3B valuation for mortgage AI

Valon Technologies has raised $150 million in a Series D funding round, bringing the company to a $2.3 billion valuation. This new capital doubles the firm's previous valuation. The funding round included new investor Ribbit Capital alongside existing backer Andreessen Horowitz.

Valon describes its ValonOS as an AI-native operating system designed for regulated finance, specifically targeting the mortgage servicing industry. The company claims that one in six outstanding U.S. mortgages is currently under contract to run on the ValonOS platform. Valon reported having more than $200 million in contracted annual recurring revenue within six months of offering the platform to the industry.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and expand its workforce across engineering, product, deployment, and go-to-market teams in New York, San Francisco, and remote locations. This expansion follows the recent acquisition of Valon Mortgage by Carrington Mortgage Services, a move that allowed Valon Technologies to focus exclusively on scaling its software platform.
