Valor Mortis set for October 2026 release

Valor Mortis, a first-person action soulslike developed by the creators of Ghostrunner, is scheduled for release on October 13, 2026. Set in an alternate history of the Napoleonic Wars, the game follows William, a former soldier of the Grande Armée who is resurrected with supernatural powers to combat a mysterious plague and horrifying monsters.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and will be included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on its launch day. The Standard Edition is priced at $39.99, while a Deluxe Edition costing $59.99 includes weapon skins and access to upcoming story DLC. Gameplay features include a combat system centered on parries, dashes, and visceral finishers, alongside a progression system where players grow stronger through death.
