Valorant hacker banned after viral skin incident

A hacker in the game Valorant has been banned after using a distinctive ‘Evil Tung Tung Tung Sahur’ skin to disrupt matches. The skin, based on a viral meme, gave the character a disturbing appearance while the player utilized wallhacks and suspected auto-aim to eliminate opponents.

Footage of the incident went viral on social media, showing the cheater moving in a third-person perspective and seeing enemy outlines through walls. The event has reignited debate within the gaming community regarding Riot Games’ kernel-level anti-cheat system, Vanguard. Some players argued that the system fails to protect user privacy and security effectively, suggesting a shift toward server-side anti-cheat and behavioral analysis instead.

Phillip Koskinas, director of the Valorant anti-cheat team, confirmed the player has been banned. He identified the cheater’s Riot ID and noted the specific cheat used was ‘lowskill vibeslop’.
