Valparaíso and Maule host independent arts events in August

An independent‑arts showcase called “Golondrinas de Invierno” will take place on 8 August at Panic House in Valparaíso. The event is organized by Golondrina Records in partnership with the Errante Imaginario collective and will feature live music, poetry, performance, theatre and visual arts from local creators.

The Teatro Regional del Maule is offering a free circus‑arts workshop on 13 August at the Centro Cultural El Espacio in Talca. The three‑hour session, limited to local ensembles, is led by the NGO El Circo del Mundo and aims to strengthen the regional performing‑arts community.

Both initiatives seek to foster collaboration, experimentation and the growth of Chile’s independent cultural scene.
