Valparaíso job fair offers 2,450 vacancies

The third edition of the OMIL-ASIVA 2026 Job Fair was held at the Valparaíso Passenger Terminal, featuring 2,450 job vacancies offered by 42 participating companies. Organized by the Municipality of Valparaíso and the Association of Companies of the Valparaíso Region (ASIVA), the event targeted professionals, technicians, skilled workers, and those seeking internships.

To promote inclusivity, the fair included opportunities for senior citizens and individuals requiring labor inclusion support, including the presence of a sign language professional. Regional authorities noted the importance of the event in addressing high unemployment rates, particularly among women, by connecting residents of Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, and surrounding areas with direct employment offers.
