Valparaíso lobby registry investigation requested by Deputy Santana

Deputy Juan Santana (PS) has requested the Comptroller General of the Republic to investigate modifications made to the lobby registry of the Valparaíso Regional Presidential Delegation. The request follows reports that a registry entry for a meeting held on June 8 was altered to remove the names of Regional Presidential Delegate Manuel Millones and Víctor Quiroz, the brother of Finance Minister Jorge Quiroz.

According to the reports, the original entry identified the meeting's subject as the Alto Santorini real estate project. Following the modification, the Delegation stated the names were included in error and that the meeting had been referred to another official. Santana has also filed a complaint with the National Prosecutor regarding the approval process of the Alto Santorini project, citing concerns over its environmental tramitation and technical objections.
