In Chile, a public-private security alliance in Viña del Mar has reported a 71% decrease in violent robberies near Plaza O’Higgins. Meanwhile, in Concepción, authorities recovered an illegally occupied property to improve neighborhood safety. In Quillota, the municipal council approved a $61 million project to install six high-tech surveillance cameras by 2027.
