Val’Quirico launches Museum of the Ball for World Cup 2026 celebrations
Val’Quirico in Puebla opened the temporary Museum of the Ball as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup festivities. The exhibition showcases more than 400 items from the collection of Rodrigo Rafael Romero, a Guinness‑record holder who owns close to 2,000 footballs. Visitors can see official replica balls from every World Cup edition on the lower level, while the upper floor displays miniature balls of nations such as Mexico, Argentina, England, France and Sweden, along with special‑edition cans and mascot figures.
The museum offers free admission and operates until 19 July, with plans to possibly extend the run to mid‑August. Opening hours are 10:00‑18:00, and the site also provides activities like billiards, a carousel, target shooting and weekend short‑film screenings on football themes.
