Valère Narayanin found dead in La Réunion restaurant

Valère Narayanin, a prominent businessman and former manager of the Discopoly's nightclub, died during the night of September 12–13, 2026, in Saint-Denis, La Réunion.

His body was discovered around 3:00 a.m. at Le Nixon, a restaurant-bar located in the Sainte-Clotilde district. Preliminary reports suggest he may have fallen down a steep service staircase that is typically closed to the public. While an accidental fall is currently the primary theory, an investigation is underway to confirm the exact circumstances.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses who were present at the establishment. Narayanin had reportedly spent part of the evening with two friends who are members of the law enforcement forces. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause of death and ensure it aligns with the suspected accident.
