Valsad police arrest three juveniles for alleged assault of minor

Three juveniles have been taken into custody in the Valsad district of Gujarat following the alleged sexual assault of a minor girl. The incident occurred on the night of August 23 near the Sai Baba Temple in the Tithal area.

Investigators report that the girl had been communicating with one of the juveniles via Instagram for approximately two years. Police allege the juvenile arranged a meeting near the temple, where he was joined by two other youths who then moved the girl to an isolated location behind the temple to commit the assault.

The victim was located by her family and police in the early hours of August 24. Authorities have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the online contact and the roles of each individual involved.
