Valtteri Bottas cycles 420 km from Malaysia to Singapore GP

Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas, racing for Cadillac, completed a 419.67-kilometer cycling journey from Malaysia to Singapore to attend the Singapore Grand Prix. The trip took place over four days following the Malaysian Grand Prix.

The challenge was inspired by a suggestion from his girlfriend, professional Australian cyclist Tiffany Cromwell. Bottas organized the route into stages to ensure he could meet his professional commitments and maintain physical readiness for the race.

During the journey, which included rural roads, dirt paths, and gravel sections, Bottas faced intense heat, high humidity, and nighttime riding using a lantern. He also encountered wildlife, including monkeys, snakes, and warnings regarding tigers along the forested routes.
