Valtteri Bottas praises Cadillac F1 facilities despite team struggles

Valtteri Bottas has stated that the Cadillac F1 Team’s new facilities in Silverstone are superior to those of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. Despite Cadillac struggling to score points in their debut season and facing reliability issues that have led to eight DNFs in 17 rounds, Bottas noted that the team is showing operational improvements every weekend.

Teammate Sergio Perez also praised the UK-based factory, describing it as one of the most impressive he has seen in his career.

Amidst these performance challenges, former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher has suggested that Cadillac should consider replacing Bottas with Esteban Ocon for the 2027 season. Schumacher cited Bottas’s current performance gap compared to teammate Sergio Perez as a reason for the potential change, noting that Ocon would be a strong sporting choice for the American squad.
