Valu Jordan officially launches fintech operations in Jordan
Valu Jordan, a subsidiary of the fintech group Valu, has officially launched its first phase of operations in Jordan. This follows several months of preparatory operations and follows the receipt of a final specialized financing license from the Central Bank of Jordan earlier this year.
The company aims to provide flexible payment solutions, specifically ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ (BNPL) services, to consumers and merchants. Valu Jordan plans to adapt its existing business model, which was established in the Egyptian market, to meet the specific needs of the Jordanian digital economy.
Since beginning operations in the second quarter of 2026, the company has focused on building its technical infrastructure and expanding its merchant network across sectors such as retail, e-commerce, education, and electronics. To support its local presence, Valu Jordan has established three physical branches in Sweifieh Village, King Hussein Business Park, and Taj Mall.
