VALUE4HER launches climate adaptation facility for African women-led agribusinesses

The VALUE4HER Climate Adaptation Evidence and Finance Readiness Facility has been launched to support women-led agribusiness small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Africa. The initiative aims to help these businesses identify, organize, and communicate the climate adaptation evidence they generate to improve their access to climate finance and policy discussions.

Anchored in AGRA’s VALUE4HER platform, the facility is implemented through a partnership between AGRA and CGIAR, involving the Alliance of Bioversity International-CIAT and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). Rather than funding new research, the program focuses on helping existing businesses utilize their own data to demonstrate the impact of their climate-smart production, logistics, and market access practices.
