Valve readies Steam Frame VR headset with limited game list
Valve has added a dedicated “Great on Steam Frame” category to the Steam Store, showcasing the few titles confirmed to run on the upcoming Steam Frame VR headset. The initial list includes Portal 2, Into Black, Aperture Hand Lab and The Lab. Steam Frame is a standalone ARM64 VR headset that can also stream or run classic PC games, using Valve’s translation layer for Windows titles. The device is expected to ship with 16 GB of RAM and either 256 GB or 1 TB of storage, and a Steam Frame Wireless Adapter accessory has been listed as available. No official launch date or price has been announced, though analysts expect it to cost well over €1,000. This follows Valve’s earlier releases of the Steam Controller and Steam Machine, marking the final promised hardware in its Steam hardware lineup.
