Valve releases official Steam Machine repair guides on iFixit

Valve has released 18 official repair guides for its Steam Machine via iFixit, covering a wide range of maintenance and component replacement tasks. The documentation includes instructions for internal cleaning, as well as replacing parts such as the motherboard, power supply, RAM, SSD, fans, and various ports.

The guides facilitate repairs for the second-generation Steam Machine, a compact gaming PC based on an AMD semi-custom platform featuring Zen 4 CPU and RDNA 3 GPU architecture. The device supports 4K resolution at 60 fps using FSR upscaling and offers expandable storage via microSD slots.

Additionally, Valve has provided a detailed guide for the Inkterface, an official E-Ink display accessory for the front panel. While Valve presents it as an official accessory, it is not sold directly; instead, users are provided with the necessary software and material lists to build it themselves.
