Valverde de la Virgen music school celebrates 20 years and modernizes

The ‘Ángel Pérez’ Municipal Music School in Valverde de la Virgen is celebrating 20 years of operation, currently serving over 600 students. The institution has grown into a regional reference for musical training and cultural engagement, featuring various instrumental and vocal groups such as the orchestra, big band, choir, and folk ensembles.

To modernize its curriculum, the school is introducing new subjects like Musical Production and Digital Creation. Additionally, the local government is investing in technological upgrades, including the acquisition of five digital whiteboards and ten laptops. These tools are intended to enhance teaching in both music and dance by facilitating the use of digital scores, audiovisual analysis, and choreographic visualization.
