Valverde man arrested for domestic violence and death threats

A 56-year-old man has been arrested by the Carabinieri in Valverde following reports of repeated domestic violence and death threats against his partner.

According to reports, neighbors alerted authorities to heated arguments at the couple's residence. While the woman initially attempted to downplay the situation when officers first arrived, she later came forward to report a pattern of physical and verbal abuse.

The victim reported that the man issued severe death threats, including stating, ‘If you leave, I will make you pay... I will slit your throat!’, while also threatening her daughter. Investigators have collected photographic evidence of previous assaults showing bruises and facial injuries, as well as witness testimonies, to support the victim's claims.
