Vama de la Munte Folk Festival Returns Aug 1‑2 2026 with Lineup Change
The National Folk Festival "Vama de la Munte" will be held on 1–2 August 2026 in Vama Buzăului, Brașov County, Romania. The seventh edition will feature live folk music, children's workshops, nature‑based activities and nightly campfires. Ten percent of each ticket price will purchase straw bales that will be donated as feed for the local bison (zimbru) reserve.
Singer Florin Săsărman will replace Ducu Bertzi on the programme after Bertzi withdrew due to the death of his mother, Florica Bertzi, on 29 July 2026. The festival will be hosted by Cristi Dumitrașcu (Rock FM) and will include artists such as Dianna Project, Ocru, Alina Manole, Dan Bittman & Jul Baldovin, among others.
