VAMMO launches training academy for electric motorcycle mechanics
VAMMO, an electric motorcycle mobility ecosystem in Brazil, has launched its Mechanic Academy to address the shortage of specialized professionals in the electric vehicle maintenance sector. The program currently has over 100 vacancies available.
The training initiative includes 40 hours of intensive theoretical and practical instruction covering components such as batteries, motors, electronics, brakes, and suspension. Since its launch, the program has trained approximately 250 professionals, with the capacity to train between 30 and 40 new technicians per month.
Implementation of the training has impacted company operations by reducing the 30-day turnover rate from 21% to 5%, while achieving a specialist retention rate of 93.5%.
