Vampire Survivors developer offers free game for blood donations

Developer poncle has announced a promotional campaign for the game ‘Vampire Survivors’ and its new DLC, ‘Legacy of the Bloodmoon’. To celebrate the release, players can receive a free bundle of the base game and the expansion by providing proof of blood donation or contributions to blood-related charities.

To qualify, participants must visit a blood donation site between September 2 and September 30 and submit proof—such as a donation app confirmation, email, or photo of a bandage—via an online form by October 7. Those unable to donate blood may also apply by showing proof of donations to blood-related charitable organizations like the Red Cross. Additionally, the campaign allows for participation by posting art using the hashtag ‘#BloodForTheBloodmoon’ on social media.

The ‘Legacy of the Bloodmoon’ DLC, which launched on August 28, 2026, introduces new content including the ‘Bloodmoon Manor’ stage, over 10 new characters, 16 weapons, and dynamic lighting features. The free bundle is available on multiple platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, and Android, while supplies last.
