Van Chamber of Commerce launches book on Lake Van's ecology

The Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Van TSO) has launched a new book titled ‘Türkiye'nin Ekolojik Değeri Van Gölü’ (Lake Van: Turkey's Ecological Value). This publication marks the first time in the history of the Chamber that a work has been prepared to serve the scientific and cultural communities.

The launch event, held at the M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu Hall, was attended by various officials, including the Van Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Emre Karagöl, and Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Sociology Department Head and book editor Prof. Dr. Suvat Parin.

During the program, Van TSO Chairman Necdet Takva highlighted the importance of the event and noted the presence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative in Van as a significant development for the city.
