Van children visit ice rink during summer vacation

Children in Van are spending the final days of their summer vacation at an ice skating rink operated by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. Organized by the Edremit Youth Center, the activity provides a way for local youth to stay active and cool down as temperatures in the city reach 30 degrees Celsius.

The ice rink, located in an area known as ‘Sports Island’, covers 450 square meters and can accommodate 30 children skating simultaneously. The facility includes a 120-seat grandstand and operates in 45-minute sessions. Seven coaches are on hand to provide basic skating instruction to the participants.
