Van Lake Activists conduct environmental awareness training for students

The Van Lake Activists Association conducted environmental awareness training for students at the Van İpekyolu Borsa İstanbul Science High School. The program, part of the Van Lake Basin Protection Action Plan and Implementation Program, focused on protecting water resources, addressing environmental pollution, and managing waste risks facing the basin.

Dr. Erdoğan Özel, President of the Van Lake Activists Association, emphasized that protecting the lake requires starting with children and youth to ensure they value and protect this geography in the future. The association intends to continue these awareness programs in various schools throughout the basin to foster a generation that feels responsible for the environment.
