Van to undergo planned electricity outages for grid maintenance

A comprehensive energy infrastructure maintenance program is being implemented across Van, Turkey, to strengthen the grid and prevent potential faults before the winter season. The technical interventions are scheduled to last for three days.

In the Edremit district, planned outages will affect the Yeni Mahalle area on 7. Cadde between 13:00 and 16:00. Additionally, Dönemeç Mahallesi will experience an eight-hour interruption from 09:00 to 17:00 on Monday, October 19, due to investment-oriented infrastructure modernization and line renewal works aimed at improving energy quality and reducing voltage fluctuations.

In the İpekyolu district, maintenance will target the Kavuncu Mahallesi area to modernize lines and increase transmission capacity. Technical work in this area is scheduled to run from 09:30 until 17:30. Authorities have advised residents and local businesses to take necessary precautions to protect electronic devices and plan their daily activities accordingly.
