Van Vicker and Lil Win clash over movie role disputes

Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, known as Lil Win, has announced he will no longer work with actor Van Vicker. In a social media video, Lil Win accused Vicker of repeatedly turning down roles and failing to communicate effectively with stakeholders in the Kumawood industry. Lil Win stated he would refuse to participate in any future productions that feature both actors, suggesting that Vicker must apologize to his production team before any reconciliation.

Van Vicker has responded to the allegations, denying that he abandoned a confirmed movie project. Vicker explained that while discussions regarding two productions in Kumasi had taken place, he never formally accepted the roles. He noted that the proposed filming dates conflicted with his existing commitments and that he had requested scripts to review his availability before committing. Vicker maintained that he communicated his unavailability several days in advance and rejected the characterization of his actions as a last-minute cancellation.
