Vana Barba criticizes Mykonos for becoming a luxury destination

Greek actress Vana Barba has criticized the current state of Mykonos, describing the island as having become a luxury destination that has lost its original character. In a recent interview with OK! magazine, Barba compared the modern atmosphere of the island to ‘Dubai,’ stating that it has become an ‘abomination’ that no longer resembles the place she once loved.

Reflecting on her personal evolution, Barba noted that she has moved past a lifestyle of luxury, finding more joy in simple moments, such as camping on a beach or gathering around a fire with guitars. Regarding her acting career, she suggested she may step away from the profession within the next three to five years.
